Deep Faith exists to train believers how to engage non-believers with biblical truth by sharing their faith biblically and relevantly in an anti-christian culture. Years ago people who did not profess Christ had the foundations of a “Christian” Worldview. As a whole, they believed in a Creator and rejected evolution, they respected the Bible and the Church at least as forces of good in the community. They respected Jesus even though they did not submit to His Lordship.
Today our world is far removed from that! Today most do not believe in a personal God who created them, they doubt the existence of Jesus, have a disdain for the Bible, and hate the church. How should we respond to this present cultural shift? Many have suggested we should act like an Ostrich and stick our heads in the sand. Not only is this idea not Biblical it leaves us a little “exposed” to the world. Others have said we should be a Koala Bear, clinging tight to this world and hold on as if it is our reason for existence. The biblical approach says we are to be connected to Christ and the church, but we are also to be engaging the culture.
